Handpiece screwdrivers

The implant screwdriver for handpieces is an essential instrument for the success of implant treatment. It consists of a standard handpiece connection that can be adapted to electric screw systems (torque control for handpiece), but also to connections for torque wrenches. The other part of the screwdriver corresponds to the shape of the head of the prosthesis screw, which is usually specific to the implant system (for example, hexagonal, star or square). Precise tightening according to the manufacturer's recommendations (recommended tightening torque) helps to avoid classic prosthetic complications such as screw unscrewing and fractures.
