The manual implant screwdriver is a very important instrument for the success of the implant prosthesis. It is used to screw in the prosthetic screw that will connect the implant abutment to the osseointegrated dental implant. The manual screwdriver consists of a handle area where the practitioner can hold the screwdriver to turn it. The other end of the screwdriver corresponds to the head of the screwdriver, which has the complementary shape of the prosthetic screw (often specific to each manufacturer). Manufacturers recommend applying precise torque to the prosthetic screws during final insertion of the prosthesis. In addition to manual screwdriving with the screwdriver, a dynamometric device can also be used.
